Nigerian-born Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has retained his title by knocking out his opponent Jorge Masvidal with a brutal second-round knockout.

15,000 fans occupied the full-capacity arena to witness the historical UFC moment where Usman landed a devastating right hand that resulted in Masvidal's dropping to the mat.

Usman then landed 5 quick hammer shots to end the fight with Masvidal.

At UFC last year, Usman faced off with Masvidal where Usman also won via unanimous decision.

Usman AKA The Nigerian Nightmare has now won 18 straight fights; the second-longest winning streak in UFC history.
