Chelsea are reportedly set to official submit bid for Tottenham's left-Back, Danny Rose. The Blues are also planning to double his wages, a development that could see him earn £120,000-a-week.  The Evening Standard reported that Chelsea are gradually losing hope in the quest to sign Juventus left-back, Alex Sandro. According to the report, the club has no worry offering the £50m required to consummate the deal.

The interest is coming days after Rose infuriated the Club by making scathing criticism about its transfer policy this season. Rose has since apologized.

Meanwhile, bookmakers have played down the possibility of the deal being sealed. The alluded to the frosty relationship between the two clubs dating back to 2005 when Chelsea lured Sporting Director Frank Arnesen away from White Hart Lane.

In retaliation, Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy in 2011 blocked Chelsea's move for Luka Modric's.
