British boxer, Scott Westgarth, has tragically died after falling ill after a heavyweight bout on Saturday. Westgarth looked uncomfortable as he was interviewed ringside after his points victory over Dec Spelman in Doncaster and was rushed to the hospital, having deteriorated backstage.

Anthony Joshua and his team are confirmed plans for his US debut fight later this year are already underway. The British boxer is looking past his heavyweight unification showdown on 31st March, the British stars promoter, Eddie Hearn says. For the reigning WBA and IBF heavyweight king, Joshua is currently training ahead of his highly-anticipated fight with WBO titleholder Joseph Parker at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

Joseph Parker's promoter David Higgins says he is not interested in fame but simply wants to take Anthony Joshua's world heavyweight titles when they face each other at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on March 31. According to Sky sports, the 26-year-old New Zealander is preparing for his unification clash against Joshua with three of the major world belts at stake.

Craig Kennedy is confident that he has little to worry about if he gets a "dream opportunity" to take on Lawrence Okolie in Cardiff on the Anthony Joshua-Joseph Parker undercard, Sky Sports reports. The Saul Canelo Alvarez vs Gennady Golokin rematch on May 5 will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KO) and Golovkin (37-0-1, 33 KO) will duke it out once again, with Golovkin’s WBC, IBF, and WBA middleweight titles at stake. “I am happy to return for the fourth time at T-Mobile Arena for this historic rematch against Golovkin,” said Alvarez.

British Olympic boxer Muhammad Ali has been banned for two years after testing positive for a banned steroid, the International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA) said on Tuesday. The 21-year-old, who competed as a flyweight at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, failed a dope test at a World Series Boxing match.

The rivalry involving two heavyweight champions, Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder may have been rekindled as both boxing champions are supporting different boxers ahead of Saturday's 'British Beef' clash between the unbeaten London cruiserweights. While Deontay Wilder is rooting for former sparring partner Isaac Chamberlain, Joshua is supporting Lawrence Okolie.
