Paris Saint-Germain club manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has described the non-performance of Lionel Messi since he left Barcelona FC as bad luck. Messi was on a free transfer window to the PSG and has completed his time where he left his mother club last summer.
The seven-time Ballon d’ Or winner has been chided by PSG fans when he could not be at his best following a disappointing first season at Parc des Princes.

He was able to manage and score only four league 1 goals this season and narrowly managed as PSG could not make it to the champions league when they were disgraced by Real Madrid in round 16.

While speaking to L’Equipe, Pochettino said, Messi's travail of dwindling star started with his first appearance at the PSG, saying, “I think it was due to bad luck. It’s unbelievable because we could have won the game on that last play, where he hits the bar.

Pochettino explained, “He’s a top-quality player, and I think he’s just suffering from bad luck this season. Unfortunately, with all those posts, he didn’t have the opportunity to score more goals.”
