Portuguese international and Real Madrid star, Christiano Ronaldo will tonight, after the first leg of the Supercopa de Espana against Barcelona complete his 374 appearances for the Los Blancos, drawing level with the legendary Alfred Di Stefano. Ronaldo who is the Club's all-time top scorer has 407 goals to his name followed by Raul and Stefano with 323 and 307 respectively. He overtook Raul in 2015 after making 203 appearances for the club.

The reigning world best footballer will set a new record when the 2017/2017 La Liga season commences.

Before the start of the season, reports had indicated that the Portuguese would leave Spain over his discontent with allegations of tax fraud leveled against him by Spanish authorities. With the whole saga left behind now, Ronaldo may spend at least an additional season with the club.
