Portugal and Juventus superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo who is widely considered as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport, has now equalled Josef Bican’s record of 759 goals to become the joint-highest scorer for club and country.

The Juventus star scored his senior career goal of 759 after an added-time goal against Sassuolo on Sunday. Ronaldo has now edged past Brazilian legend Pele’s who is on 757 official goals and Lionel Messi who is placed at the fifth spot with 719 goals.

The 35-year old who took 1037 games to match to reach the feat will be needed just one goal to surpass Bican, who scored 759 official goals in a mind-blowing 495 games. With seven more international goals, he will become the all-time highest international goal-scorer.
