The New Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, disclosed he is anxious to play against Juventus star, Christiano Ronaldo, in his unveiling Serie A campaign. Osimhen moved to Italy after a fruitful season in Lille, where he left a record of 13 goals in 27 League games.
The Super Eagle star feels he has overcome the anxiety and cannot wait to clash with one of the recognized players of the century.
Napoli are on away to Parma for their opening league coming up tomorrow Sunday, however, the star player is determined and ready for a trip to Allianz Stadium on October 4.
In his statement, while speaking to the CAF website, Osimhen said “I’m really looking forward to a new career here in Serie A. Playing against the likes of Christian Ronaldo is something one can eagerly wait for,”.
“While at Lille, I had the opportunity of playing against some of the best players in the world like Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and it would definitely be a whole great experience to play against Ronaldo, who is one of the greatest players on earth. So, I’m looking forward to facing him soon.”
