Shandong Luneng midfielder, Marouane Fellaini has been tested positive for coronavirus.

 

Fellaini announced this through his tweeter account today.

The midfielder thanked his fans for their continued support, while promised to follow up the treatment.

The Belgian footballer wrote, “Dear friends, I have been tested for coronavirus and my test result is positive.

Thanks to the fans, medical staff and the club for their care and attention.

“I will follow the treatment and hope to return to the game as soon as possible.

Please, everyone, stay safe.”

Meanwhile in Nigeria, the number of cases has continued to gradually surge officially now the total number of those confirmed positive is put at 27.
