The new Manchester United attacker, Odion Ighalo has disclosed this season under Gunnar Solsjaer that the club lacks a striker who stays in the middlebox against the opponent. The Nigerian born striker will play for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men following the signing of his six months loan from Shanghai Shenhua on a deadline transfer date.

While speaking ahead of the Man Utd Premier League set for February 17th against Chelsea, the Nigerian born striker told MUTV: “I watch Man Utd’s matches and sometimes they lack a striker who stays mostly in the middle of the opponent’s box.

He said the likes of Anthony Martial Rashford always enjoy coming from the outside to the box, saying the Red Devils need a player in the middle of the attack who can keep and control the ball from there.

“As I have watched many United’s matches, they need that physical presence there in the middle, Ighalo added.

According to him, he is optimistic he can improve if everything goes fine under Solskjaer.
