Serie A: Zlatan Compares Self With God, Give Reason

The AC Milan striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has stated that he celebrated like a ‘God’ whenever he scores a goal because it give him the joy of his life.

The striker stated this shortly after he scored and made history in AC Milan’s 2-0 away victory over Cagliari in a Serie A head to head on Saturday.

 

Ibrahimovic who rejoined the AC Milan in his January’s transfer window a few days ago, scored the second goal of the encounter in a 64 minutes after Rafael Leao had given the Italian giants the lead shortly after half time.

 

The 38-year-old’s striker netting of the goal against Cagliari marks his fourth different decades after first scoring for Malmo against Vastra Frolunda back in 1999.

 

In his statement, “I’ll celebrate like a God at San Siro, not here,” Ibrahimovic told Sky Sport Italia.

 

“I celebrate (like a) God every time I score, that way I feel alive! It’s important for a striker to try and be there, then sometimes it goes in, sometimes it doesn’t.

 

He admitted sometimes he do got a wrong ball at the start of the game, saying he will need a few marches to come back to form.

 

He explained he feel good as the coach was only looking at his age while mulling if he needed arrest, saying however, he has no problem with that as he mind is still sharper than the coach think and his body will have no option than to follow.

 

He said they played with two strikers and two wingers to push the whole team to victory.
