English Clubs have once again proved to be a force to be reckoned with in Europe by taking all four final in Europe major competitions. Arsenal and Chelsea have cemented a place in the Europa League final, while Liverpool and Tottenham will face off in what is said to be the last game of the 2018/19 football season at the Champions League Final.

English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A and the German Bundesliga have enjoyed spells of dominance in Europe both in the Champions League and Europa League. Ever since the inception of the competition, no national league has ever produced more than three teams at the finals.

Serie A in 1995 and 1998 produced three finalists (AC Milan in the Champions League, Parma and Juventus in the UEFA Cup) and 1998 (Juventus in the Champions League, Inter and Lazio in the UEFA Cup)). The Spanish La Liga also produced three finalists in 2014 and 2016 (Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the Champions League, Sevilla in Europa League on both occasions).

History was made in the 2018-19 season when all four European final slots went to English clubs in Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. Arsenal and Chelsea will meet in Baku, Azerbaijan on 29 May, with a Champions League spot at stake for the Gunners, who could become the fifth English side to qualify for next season's competition. While Tottenham and Liverpool will meet in Madrid on 1 June,

In addition, there will also be an all-English Uefa Super Cup in August which will be played in Istanbul, Turkey. Irrespective of which team will emerge victorious, this will be the first time an English team will win the tournament since 2005 (Liverpool)
