Portuguese International and Real Madrid Star, Cristiano Ronaldo has smashed Jimmy Greaves’ 46yr old record as the highest goal scorers in Europe's top five leagues.

Ronaldo attained this feat after Real Madrid crushed Sevilla 4 – 1 on Sunday in their Spanish League encounter.

 

Ronaldo drew level with Jimmy Greaves with after his first goal before netting the second of the day. The Portuguese International has played for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

 

The Portuguese netted twice as Real Madrid defeated Sevilla 4 – 1, taking his La blancos goals to 400. Before joining Real Madrid, Ronaldo scored 84 Premier League goals with Manchester United. He will look to break his own record on 17 May, when Madrid travels to face Celta Vigo in an outstanding game that is crucial to determining the winner of the Spanish league.

 

The Los Blancos are currently level on points with their perennial rivals, Barcelona albeit with the game against Vigo in hand.
