Chelsea and Nigerian star, Victor Moses as well as Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah are top on the list of players in France Football’s Africa XI for 2017. Moses missed out on two of the continent’s top awards this year, the (BBC) African Player of the Year as well as the (CAF) African Footballer of the Year.

Newly appointed Al Khartoum Watani manager, Emmanuel Amuneke, will assume his duty at the club for the forthcoming season on January, 5, 2018. Manchester City have been hit with injury woe after Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne were taken off the pitch during Sunday encounter with Crystal Palace.  Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus came off injured after 22 minutes. The Brazilian, who suffered a foot injury in February that put him out for several months of last season, was clearly upset when he walked off with a leg injury to be replaced by Sergio Aguero.
