Kano state Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Shehu Na’Allah Kura has quit governor Ganduje cabinet and dumped APC for NNPP. This was contained in a statement issued by the state commissioner for Information, Mallam Muhammad Garba, saying Kura resigned his appointment from the Ganduje’s cabinet and defected to New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP.

The NNPP in Kano state is being led by former governor Rabiu Musa kwankwaso in the state.

According to findings, the commissioner was nominated by former Governor Ibrahim Shekarau into Ganduje’s cabinet; he, therefore, resigned for loyalty to join his benefactor in the NNPP who recently fallout with the governor Ganduje over Supreme Court ruling on the APC congress in Kano.

Until the recent defection of his Boss, Mallam Shekarau, Kura was a loyal member of the All Progressive Congress, APC, he had also served as the commissioner for Budget and Planning in the state.

The commissioner for Information disclosed that the resigned commissioner was nominated into Ganduje’s cabinet by his Boss after the victory of the 2019 general election.
