Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Thursday stormed the Ogun state Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Oke Ilewo area, along with former governors of Cross River and Osun states, Donald Duke and Oyinlola Omisore respectively to inaugurate the Coalition for Nigeria Movement.

It was gathered that the former President completed his membership form and handed over same to the National Coordinator of the Movement, Oyinlola.

The Coalition emerged after Obasanjo, in his recent statement called on President Muhammadu Buhari not to seek reelection. He had disclosed in the statement that neither the All Progressives Congress nor the Peoples Democratic Party can take the country forward. He therefore recommended the formation of a national coalition movement as a third force that would displace the two dominant parties.
