About eight Commissioners in Adamawa state have dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC), following the defection of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar from the party. The commissioners who ostensibly belong to the Atiku political camp include Alhaji Daware, Commerce and Trade, Ahmadu Waziri, Agriculture, Dr. Fatima Atiku Abubakar, commissioner of health and Commissioner of Works and Housing.
Lilian Stephen. Others are Commissioner of Land and Survey Yayaji Mijinyawa and Commissioner of Youths and Sports, Mr Augustine Ayuba.
Atiku who dumped the APC last week took to Facebook on Sunday to announce that he was rejoining the PDP, a party he abandoned, months preceding the 2015 general elections.
Although the Governor of Adamawa state, Jibrilla Bindow has reiterated his commitment to the APC despite the defection of his 'godfather', many observers claim that it is a matter of time for him to also jump ship.
