APC South-South Applauds President Buhari, Says He Has Done Well

Leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in South-South have passed a vote of confidence on President Buhari’s administration; say despite skirmishes, the president has done well. The decision was passed during the meeting of party stalwarts that held last night in Abuja, with the APC bigwigs promising to work in the interest of the party and Nigerians. Accordingly, a communiqué was issued at the end of the meeting applauding Buhari style of leadership of massive investment in infrastructure despite poor revenue.

The document signed by the party’s Secretary of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention planning Committee, Senator James Akpanudoedehe calling on party faithful in the south-south to meet periodically to fashion out how they would use the party to their advantage in the 2023 general election.

The party Secretary who applauded the party under the leadership of the Buni led committee to have moved the party to an enviable height through making the oppositions to want to belong to the APC, evidently through their mass defection into the party.

The communiqué partly reads; “The meeting applauds Mr. President for the tremendous work he is doing under very difficult circumstances. Consequently, a vote of confidence was passed on the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

“The meeting resolved that leaders must work together in harmony in the interest of the party and our people.

“The meeting condemned the divisions amongst the leaders and urged on the need to foster unity in the zone.

Accordingly, the party has resolved to set up a six-man committee of highly respected party stalwarts to handle a negotiating reconciliation and issues from various states which is to be lead by the party former chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun in company of, H.E Lucky Imasuen as secretary.

While, Chief Sunny Jackson, Dr. Mrs. Maryam Ali, Cleaver Ikisikpo, Samm Jaja, and Chief Emmanuel Nsan as members.
