Mr. Tunde Rahman, a media adviser to the All Progressive Congress (APC) National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has accused some chieftains of the APC of threatening the very fabric of the party into disintegration in the name of politicking ahead of the 2023 general election. Mr. Rahman said Asiwaju is unlike some leaders or governors who confess loyalty to the party but their actions suggest otherwise.

The Tinubu’s aid stated this in a statement titled “Asiwaju Tinibu and the Edo Election” published yesterday on online news saying the said governors acted blindly in an attempt to pave way for their ambition ahead 2023.

The statement 9partly reads; “Those who know him would know that the former Lagos governor has remained consistent and constant in sticking out his neck for his party. For him, the party is supreme. Not one to jump political ship, his political trajectory would reveal he has kept faith with the progressive parties over the years.

He added, “Indeed, it must be pointed out clearly that beneath all the shenanigans that trailed the Edo poll, underneath all of that rabble-rousing, rumor-mongering, campaign of calumny, character assassination, deceit and double-dealing is the matter of 2023,”

Rahman described his boss as a democrat who believes in the rights of the Edo people to select their leader.
