President Muhammadu Buhari had yesterday reiterated his stance to his Ministers that protocol requesting to seek his attention must remain through his Chief of Staff (CoS), Prof. Ibrahim Gambari. Buhari made his stance known yesterday while addressing Ministers during their first-year Ministerial performance review retreat of his administration at the state House. Buhari said matters concerning the Federal Executive Council (FEC) should be handled by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).
In his statement, “Let me also reiterate that all submissions for my attention or meeting requests should be channeled through the Chief of Staff.
“While all federal Executive council matters should be coordinated through the secretary to the government of the federation,”
This is coming as Buhari has once told his Ministers during his former Chief of Staff, Late Abba Kyari similar thing.
