The Legal Practitioner's Privilege Committee (LPPC) on Thursday released a 91- man list of lawyers for consideration for the award of the prestigious Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). The list includes the name of Akinlolu Osinbajo, brother to the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, renowned human Rights activist and politician, Festus Keyamo amongst others.
It would be recalled that Keyamo had made the list in the past but failed to be awarded the title after other indices were considered by the LPPC. Gambo Saleh, Secretary of LPPC while releasing the list, stated that the shortlisted candidates were made up of 67 practicing lawyers and 24 legal scholars.
Findings by Vigil360 indicated that out of the 50 candidates shortlisted for last year's award, only 22 nominees were awarded the title. The full 91-man list is as follows:
