As Kyari’s Replacement Deepens, APC State Chairmen Forum Caution Party On Way Forward

The Forum of State Chairmen of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has urged the party national echelon to recommend a suitable candidate to fill the vacant seat created by Abba Kyari demise into the cabinet of President Buhari.

 

It was leant that jostling has commenced amongst the cabals within the APC to fill the vacuum created, Abba Kyari, the late chief of Staff to President Buhari a replacement.

The forum of the progressive chairmen recommendation was contained in its statement issued to condone with the President over the demise of Kyari, the late chief of Staff to the President.

The statement signed by the Progressive Forum Chairman who is the Borno state APC chairman, Ali Bukar Dalori.

According to the letter, the exit of Kyari would affect the leadership of the APC as a party as the diseased was the gatekeeper between the party and Mr President.

Dalori urged Nigerians that Kyari demise should be a compass to indicate that the coronavirus pandemic is real and should not be taken with disdain as Kyari had all medical attention required but still gave up.

He noted that the office of the Chief of Staff is a vital office for the attainment of the President’s policies and programs and therefore caution those jostling to replace the office to be wary of the responsibility the office carry.

In his statement; “We commiserate also with the government of Borno State, Borno APC and the bereaved family.

“It is pertinent that we state that those jostling to replace Abba Kyari should know that it is a job of a confidant, who will help the president to achieve his goals in governance.

“The forum calls on the leadership of APC to find a way to help in stabilising the president and possibly recommend somebody that would be an asset as a Chief of Staff,” the forum stated.
