COVID-19: Buhari Disclosed Latest Approach Against The Disease

The presidency has revealed that President Buhari is taking a two-step approach to arrest the spread of the coronavirus in the country.

 

The statement indicated that the approach has to do with the security of Nigerian people’s lives as well as the impact of the lockdown in the people businesses across the country.

The statement was contained in an official tweeter handle of the Presidency on Sunday.

According to the tweet, President Buhari was set to take the approach as a national response to the global pandemic.

The tweet reads;

“In Nigeria, we are taking a two-step approach.

First, to protect the lives of our fellow Nigerians and residents living here and second, to preserve the livelihoods of workers and business owners,”

The president is position is coming at a time the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed five additional cases from Lagos, Kwara and Kastina states.

The toll of the coronavirus in Nigeria is now 323.
