The apex socio-culture and political organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, has taunted Nnamdi Kanu, the Leader of the Proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as their greatest enemy in the last 200 years.
The Ohanaeze Secretary-General, Barr. Uche Okwukwu disclosed this in a chart with the Daily Post correspondence, saying that Kanu has collected money from the enemies of Igbo’s and have sold the complete southeast.
Okwukwu said Nnamdi Kanu posture was set to undermine all chances that were available to the southeast to produce the next Nigerian President come 2023.
In his statement;
“This is a man that asked Igbo to destroy their Voters Registration Cards and not to vote.
48 hours to the election, he collected money from PDP and asked the people to vote; so what will they have used to vote?
“Kanu’s action undermines the interest of Ndigbo politically.
He’s an enemy of the Igbo people.
In any serious land and clime, they will catch him and flog him because he’s undermining our people.
“Today, you can see the votes that came out of Igbo land, three thousand votes from Abia; 600,000 votes from Anambra; 500,000 votes from Enugu; 300,000 votes from Ebonyi; 500, 000 votes from Imo.
Is that the number of votes that will produce Igbo president he queried?
He continued, “All the votes from the Southeast are not up to that of Jigawa and Katsina, so Nnamdi Kanu is commissioned to destroy the Igbo race.
The enemies of Ndigbo gave him money to destroy us.
He’s the greatest enemy of Ndigbo in the last 200 years.
I equate him to a slave master.”
More so, the continued verbal insult against the President Buhari by the separatist misguided charlatans who don’t see beyond their nose have ruined all the chances that were available to the Igbo’s to exploit politically, Okwukwu added.
The ohanaeze secretary revealed president Buhari will anoint the 2023 presidential candidate but Kanu’s action has narrowed the chances of Igbo’s of becoming the anointed one.
Okwukwu opined that he has said it without numbers that President Buhari will decide the Nigerian President for the 2023 and you do not need a prophet to tell you that, therefore, APC will still form a government.
He lamented the action’s of Nnamdi Kanu as detrimental to the Igbo politics especially when he took on reining insult to president Buhari, he has succeeded in drifting Igbo’s far away from the APC, and few that were able to make it in the APC like Ngige, Okorocha and Orji Kalu are being constantly under attack from the Igbo’s and we need to become President how, how is that possible he said.
APC does not need Nnamdi Kanu to win the election.
They have won the presidential election twice without the votes of the South-South and South-East.
Buhari became president without the vote of our people, he ran again without the vote of our people, so he will still install a president without our votes.” Okwukwu lament.
Meanwhile, he called on President Buhari in the interest of equity to zone the presidency to the southeast.
He said “We are appealing to Buhari and APC that in the interest of equity and fairness to give the presidency to Igbo and to produce a Nigerian president of Igbo extraction. I don’t care where he comes from.
