The embattled National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomole on Tuesday 17 march chaired the meeting of its National Working Committee (NWC) at the party's secretariat in Abuja. The meeting came less than 24 hours after the Appeal Court ordered a stay of execution of the order of the FCT High Court suspending him as the National Chairman of the party.

Speaking during the meeting with party executives, Oshiomole said that the party is united and not divided. He stated that pro-people parties usually have more challenges than conservative parties. The APC national chairman assured that the party remains strong despite the challenges it has faced. He continued by admitting that He is not a perfect being but his sincerity of purpose cannot be denied.

Oshiomole acknowledged the Judiciary for overturning the High Court ruling which suspended him and stated his resolve to reconcile his style of leadership with that of other members of the party for the unity of purpose.
