Alleged Zara Buhari Appointment: Presidency Debunks Rumour; Say PPPRA Did Not Employ Her

The Presidency has today slammed the rumour that President Buhari’s daughter Zara has been employed to serve as deputy Manager by the petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA).

 

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina stated this in a statement that Zara Buhari was never and is not an employee of the PPPRA.

His statement partly reads; “An online medium given particularly to fake news publishes that Zahra, daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari, has fraudulently secured a job with the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA).

“While Zahra, just like any other Nigerian, can work wherever she secures employment, we hasten to add that the story is false in every material particular.

According to him, the statement is false from all ramification and totality untrue and malicious mend to cast the first family in bad light since the platform mentioned the job was fraudulently secured.

Adesina said all good people are enjoined to ignore such lies as hack piece masquerading as a news story.
