The ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto state and its critical rival in the state, the All Progressives Congress (APC) have all expressed optimism of coming out victorious as the Supreme Court billed tomorrow 20th January 2020 to deliver judgment in the governorship case filed by the APC’s candidate Ahmed Aliyu against Governor Aminu Tambuwal of the PDP.

According to the PDP State Secretary, Kabiru Aliyu, party bigwigs and its teeming supporters in the state are positive that it is going to be in their favor.

He opined that all the circumstances of the case point to the fact that there is nothing that would change from their earlier victory against the APC.

Adding that the apex court judges would confirm the decision of the people and that of the lower courts.

However, as expected, the APC state Publicity Secretary, Sambo Bello Danchadi debunked the PDP's projection describing it as a mirage for a lost sheep.

When contacted by newsmen, he emphatically believed that APC will emerge victorious against their stolen mandate.

He also resorts to divinity by attributing all successes to God.

In his words, Danchadi disclosed that "We are very positive, God willing, we shall be victorious”.
