Monday, 30th December 2019 will not be easily forgotten by family, friends and associates of Alhaji Isah Harisu, Member representing Kebbe constituency of Sokoto State Gouse of Assembly who slumped during plenary and later confirmed dead at Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital(UDUT), Sokoto.
It was gathered that the lawmaker arrived the Assembly complex early morning for the daily legislative business but suddenly, slumped at the floor of the chamber before he was rushed to UDUT where he was confirmed dead. His death was officially declared by Abubakar Magaji, the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
Also, the deceased was elected under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC) during the last February 2019 general elections.
