The 59th Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) is to hold from August 23 to 29 in Lagos and more than 10,000 legal practitioners are expected to attend.
This was disclosed by the President of the NBA, Paul Usoro while addressing newsmen in Lagos. He said the 2019 conference Themed “Facing the Future” is expected to focus on Code of Conduct Tribunal, Capacity Building in Oil and Gas Industry, Clash of Judicial and Executive Powers, Social Media Culture, Liability and Professional Ethics, and Domestic Policy Change.
Others include; Redying Your Practice to Tap the Opportunities, Next Generation Lawyers, Digital Trade in Legal Services, Leveraging Technology in Practice, Threats, among others.
The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammad among other VIPs are expected to attend. (NAN)
