Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase representative of Wase federal Constituency Plateau State has emerged the Deputy Speaker of the 9th assembly unopposed after his nomination by two honourable members.
Hon. Idris was elected into the lower Chamber of the National Assembly in 2007 and is currently serving his third term as a member of House of Representatives, Wase Federal Constituency.
Prior to serving as Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ahmed Idris worked with Bauchi State Ministry of Environment from 1988 – 2002, from there he proceeded to College of Education Gindiri as a Non-Academic Staff between 1996 -2005 where he held the following positions:
