Nigeria Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo alongside the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki was present during the opening ceremony of the induction for the newly-elected and returning governors. The event which is holding at the Conference Centre of the State House is organized by the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).
Other prominent persons at the event were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, APC National leader, Ahmed Bola Tinubu, and outgoing governors who are completing their second term on May 29, 2019.
It was gathered that the induction which will hold between 28th April and 1st May, will be multilayered and interactive.
Speaking during the inauguration, Chairman of the NGF and Governor of Zamfara state, Abdulaziz Yari, charged the governors to give priority to agriculture in a bid to diversify the economy.
