Abdullahi Wammako Mohammed, member of the House of Representatives representing Kware/Wammako federal constituency of Sokoto State, is dead. He died at an Abuja Hospital after a brief illness, the spokesman of the House, Abdulrazak Namdas disclosed this to news men today.

 

“We got the information that we lost Abdullahi Wammako from Sokoto” Mr. Namdas said. Reacting to the news, Speaker Yakubu Dogara expressed his condoles to the government and people of Sokoto state.

 

He eulogised the deceased lawmaker even as he stated that he a dedicated lawmaker who had the progress of Kware/Wammako federal constituency, Sokoto State and the entire country at heart.


He prayed that God should comfort his immediate family over the loss.


A member of the governing All Progressives Congress, Mr. Mohammed was a vice chairman of the House Committee of Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA), according to the National Assembly website.
