The Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, will on Wednesday (today) brief heads of diplomatic missions and international organisations accredited to monitor elections in Nigeria on INEC preparations for the elections.
According to Punch, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, George Edokpa, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, adding that the briefing would hold at Tafawa Balewa House, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja.
It explained that many envoys including the United States Ambassador to Nigeria, Stuart Symington; United Kingdom High Commissioner, Catriona Laing; and other senior diplomats are expected to be at the meeting.
