The Federal Government says the sum of N750bn would be released any moment from now for implementation of capital projects captured in the 2017 Budget. The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun made the disclosure on Monday during a meeting with a delegation of investors from France.

President Buhari, Monday, departed Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano for Paris to participate alongside 50 world leaders in the One Planet Summit.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has criticised the outcome of the national convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), describing it as abnormal.

The Governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode on Monday presented the 2018 appropriation Bill tagged "Budget of Progress and Development" to the Lagos state House of Assembly. The budget which is projected to be around One Trillion, Forty-six Billion, One Hundred and Twenty-one Million, One Hundred and Eighty-one Thousand, Six Hundred and Eighty naira (N1,046,121) would consolidate ongoing development projects in the state as well as ensure the establishment of new capital projects.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday hosted the Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello Masari, and some northern Senators at his home in Daura, Katsina State.

The lawmakers, from the Northern Senators Forum, who were received by the President are Senators Kabiru Gaya, Mustapha Bukar, Abdullahi Adamu and Senate Leader Ahmed Lawan.
