The Federal Government has concluded plans to reunite the latest batch of released Chibok girls with their parents in Abuja.
According to the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajiya Aisha Alhassan, pictures of the 82 girls has been sent to their parents for identification through the Chairman of the Chibok community, Mr. Hosea Tsambido. The parents are expected in Abuja this Friday after they had identified their respective daughters.
The Minister assured that her Ministry will ensure that the visit is well planned and hitch-free. Meanwhile, the girls were revealed to be undergoing relevant medical treatment as part of their rehabilitation and reintegration programme.
