Today, the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari and the Head of Service, Winifred Oyo-Ita were seen hugging themselves before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting currently ongoing at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The move came after President Muhammadu Buhari reportedly summoned the duo following an altercation between them last week.

The fracas which was captured in a short video widely circulated on the social media was triggered by a leaked memo purportedly written by Oyo-Ita, detailing her role in the embarrassing Abudulrasheed Maina's recall. The HoS had claimed that the President was fully aware of Maina's recall stressing that she "verbally advised the President against the move."

Angered by the release of the memo, the Kyari accused Oyo-Ita of deliberately leaking the memo to embarrass the president and threatened to query her. The Chief of Staff even requested for video evidence of her meeting with the President where she warned him against Maina's recall.
