The Director General, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig. Gen. Zakari Kazaure has urged Corps Members across the country to inter-marry assuring that he will personally attend the ceremony. The DG made the remarks while addressing the Batch B Stream A Corps members currently undergoing their orientation course at the Amada Orientation Camp, Gombe state.
According to him “I am encouraging inter-marriages between you; I want all the girls in this camp who are not married to marry, I will gladly attend”
He also enjoined them to set up small businesses after their service year in order to generate funds that will address their daily needs.
“I want you to set up small businesses, no matter how small after your service year. I do not want my Corps members to be going around offices in the name of seeking for white collar job which is not forthcoming. Set up your small business no matter how small it is, do not despise your little beginning” he said.
The DG also called on them to shun social vices warning that such acts could destroy their future.
