Professor Jerry Agada, a former Minister of Education has on Tuesday died at the Federal Medical Centre, FMC, Makurdi in Benue State following a brief illness. The 68-year-old who was once the National President of Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) and up until the time of his death, a Chairman of the Benue State Civil Service Commission died after a week of being hospitalized. Prof. Agada was also the Principal, Government College Makurdi. He served as Permanent Secretary, Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs l in Benue state. The seasoned writer who authored several books aspired for the Governorship position under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
