President Muhammadu Buhari has finally spoken on the contract of Process and Industrial Developments Limited (P&ID), saying it was a scam in its onset targeted to defraud Nigerian government of billions of dollars.
Buhari made this statement while delivering his speech during the United Nation General Assembly currently being held at New York, United States of America which is also the first time Nigerian government is officially making a statement concerning the ruling publicly.
Mr. President said, we are giving notice to International Criminal groups by the vigorous prosecution of the P&ID scam attempting to circumvent Nigeria illegally through the back door.
It could be recalled that a UK court awarded sum of $9.6 dollars to the P&ID against Nigeria ordering them to seize Nigerian property failure of Nigeria to comply with the court order which Nigeria has rejected.
