President Muhammadu Buhari will today depart Abuja, for Daura, Katsina state for Sunday’s eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebration.
According to Dailytrust, the president will leave the Presidential Villa Abuja after the Juma’at prayers.
Muslims in the country will on Sunday join their counterparts across the world to celebrate this year’s eid-el-Kabir.
In commemoration of the celebration, the Federal government had declared Monday and Tuesday as public holiday.
Buhari last visited Daura during the last general elections. He is expected to commission some projects during his stay in Katsina. will be in Katsina State till, after the Sallah holiday, Daily Trust reports.
