The Speaker House of Representative, Femi Gbajabiamila, has named chairpersons for the standing committee of the house. Unlike before, the number of the Standing committee was also increased from 96 to 109.
The decision to increase the number was contained in a report read by the ad-hoc committee directed to review the house standing order.
PremiumTimes reported that, In the list of the new committee, the kitchen cabinet of Gbajabiamila were observed to have clinched juicy committee like finance, James Falake; Appropriation, to be chaired by Mukhtar Betara; Khadija Bukar, NEDC, while Aisha Dukku on the electoral matter.
Others are Oluwole Oke; Defence, Babajimi Benson, and Army, Abdulrazak Namdas.
