Breaking... Supreme Court Turns Down Request To Review Zamfara Governorship Election

The Supreme Court has today rejected a request by the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the review of its judgement that upturn the outcome of Governorship election in Zamfara state which disqualified its party and subsequently gave the victory to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

 

A five-man panel of Justices led by Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour, in a ruling early on Monday, today struck out the application marked: SC/377/2019 filed by the APC, seeking a review of the judgement.

 

The court rejected attempt by, Robert Clarke (SAN), the lawyer to the APC, pleading with the court to take a second look at its earlier decision given this year.
