As Tenure Winds Down: Buhari Sets April 24th For Ministers To Submit Report

Ahead of the May 29 swearing-in ceremony of the new administration, President Buhari has directed ministers to submit a comprehensive “status reports on policies, programs and projects” from their respective ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs).

The directive was contained in a circular issued yesterday by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha.

 

The circular further revealed that the Ministers have until Wednesday, 24th April 2019 as the deadline for the submission of such report to the office of Presidential Audit Committee at the office of the Vice president.

 

Members of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) were also not left out, according to the circular, they are to ensure all outstanding memoranda they intend to transmit to the FEC be submitted to the Cabinet Affairs Office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation latest Tuesday, 30th April 2019.

 

Meanwhile, the 9th and 10th meetings of the council has been rescheduled to Thursday, 25th and Thursday, 2nd May 2019 respectively in view of the Easter break and Mayday celebrations.
