The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on Monday appointed the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki as the Director General of his Presidential Campaign Council. The appointment was contained in a statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary to the PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan.
The statement also named the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal as the Zonal Coordinator for NorthWest.
The statement reads in part
"PDP names the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki as Director General Atiku Presidential Campaign Council.
“HE Tambuwal is Zonal Coordinator for NorthWest. Dankwambo is Zonal Coordinator for NorthEast. Ortom Samuel is the Zonal Coordinator for North Central.”
The list is coming few days after some news platforms wrongfully released a list of some PDP stakeholders including Rabiu Kwankwaso as Coordinator of the North West.
