APC Mulls Replacing Adamu With Ganduje

Barring any last-minute changes, immediate past governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, will be named as interim national chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), pending the conduct of the party’s special convention later in the year. Ganduje, 73, was at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Wednesday, where he met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and three APC governors. Ganduje will take over from Senator Abubakar Kyari who was named as acting national chairman on Monday. Kyari, who hails from Borno State, is the deputy national chairman (North) of the party.

Insecurity: NYSC Relocate Mangu Orientation Camp To Doi-Du, Plateau State

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has relocated the Mangu orientation camp to Waye Foundation by Buken Academy, Doi-Du in the Jos South Local Government Area of the State. The NYSC on Monday urged prospective 2023 Batch 'B' Stream One Corps members for Plateau State to resume at the Orientation Camp in Doi-Du.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola (MKO), the winner of the June 12, 1993 Presidential election as Nigeria's symbol of democracy. Abiola who was the presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 1993 presidential election died five years after his election was annulled by the then Head of State, General Ibrahim Babangida. 

Daar Communication Chairman, Dokpesi is Dead

The Chairman, Daar Communication, owner of AIT Television and Raypower FM, High Chief Raymon Dokpesi is dead.
His demise was announced by his family through a statement by his son, Raymon Dokpesi Junior yesterday. Details of what caused his demise were not detailed by the family, however, will make it clear later.

President Tinubu Appoints Ribadu, Alake, Six Other Special Advisers

President Bola Tinubu, on Thursday, appointed Nuhu Ribadu, Dele Alake,  and six others as Special Advisers. According to a release issued by State House Director of Information, Mr Abiodun Oladunjoye, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of eight Special Advisers.

During the live broadcast at 7 am on Sunday, Buhari stressed that he felt fulfilled that he had placed Nigeria on the path of transformation and development. He appreciated Nigerians’ support for him in the past eight years. Buhari specially thanked Nigerians for their prayers when he was ill during his first term in office.
