Chicago State University, United States of America has responded to Nigeria former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar on the academic records request of President Bola Tinubu. The CSU released a documents to Atiku on Monday in compliance with the order of a United States District Court in Northern District of Illinois.

Coups: President Tinubu Seeks Restoration Of Democracy In Africa

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday condemned the spate of military coups in Africa describing same as wrong and unreflective of the collective aspiration of Africans. Mr. Tinubu mentioned the above during his inaugural speech at the 78th session of the General Assembly at the UN headquarters in New York. President Tinubu affirmed that democratic governance must be adopted as the best guarantor of the sovereign will and well-being of the people. "Military coups are wrong, as is any tilted civilian political arrangement that perpetuates injustice."

INEC Okays Resumption of PVC Collection in Bayelsa, Imo, Kogi

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has approved the resumption of collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) for registered voters ahead of the November 11 governorship elections in Bayelsa, Imo and Kogi States. The Commission said the PVCs would be available for collection at all the Local Government area offices in the three States, eight in Bayelsa, 27 in Imo and 21 in Kogi.

President Tinubu Departs Abuja For G20 Summit In India 

President Bola Tinubu has departed Nigeria to attend the G-20 Leaders’ Summit in New Delhi, India, on the special invitation of Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Mr. Tinubu department in the early hours of Tuesday from the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. The summit is expected to hold from September 9 to 10. Earlier on September 1, Ajuri Ngelale, presidential spokesperson, said president Tinubu seeks to attract foreign investments to the country during the summit.
