Famous Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dr Ahmad Gumi on Monday, 22nd July 2019 lost his daughter, Maryam Ahmad Gumi. It was gathered that she died after battling with sickle cell anaemia.
According to Malam Tukur Mamu, who made the announcement on behalf of the family, the late Maryam will be buried today after Zuhur (afternoon) prayers. He stressed that her funeral prayer will take place at the residence of the late Sheikh Abubakar Mahmud Gumi. He prayed that Allah grants her peace and admit her into Aljanatu Firdausi.
