Nigerian Army authorities have revealed that Troops of I Division FCC rescued five of the students of the College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Kaduna State, who were kidnapped by bandits on March 11. The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig-Gen. Mohammed Yerima made the above information public in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, NAN reports.
Yerima who declined to give details on when they were rescued said “The rescued students are currently receiving medical attention in a military facility in Kaduna.”
Yerima gave the names of the rescued students as Francis Paul, Abubakar Yakubu, Obadiya Habakkuk, Maryam Danladi, and Amina yusuf.
The Nigerian army also vows not to relent on their effort to rescue all the kidnapped victims.
