Youth Corper Commits Suicide In Enugu, Say Life’s Boring

The Enugu State Police Command wakes up to a tragedy on Saturday after receiving the news of a serving National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) member identified as, Motunrayo Bolufemi committed suicide.

Bolufemi, a Batch C corps member serving at the Girls Secondary School, Ibagwa, Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of the state took her life on Friday when she took a poison suspected to be sniper.

 

The corps member is a native of ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi state who studied Banking and Finance from the Abubakar Audu University formerly referred to as Kogi state University.

 

Sunday PUNCH reported that the diseased left a suicide note before ending her life which reads; “I did this because I see nothing worth living for in this world.”

 

When the Public Relations Officer of the Police Command in Enugu,  SP Ebere Amaraizu was contacted for confirmation, the officer described the incident as unfortunate.

 

In his statement, he said, “The incident has to do with the taking of sniper by one Motunrayo Bolufemi, a female corps member from Kogi State serving at Girls High School, Ibeagwa-Aka, Igboeze South LGA. She was later rushed to the hospital where the doctor confirmed her dead.
