President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the attack by the gunmen on Mangu locals in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Buhari said he was shocked and aggrieved by the incident where he commensurate with the family of victims. The President charged security agencies to step up their game and fish out the culprit and also arrest future occurrence of such criminal activity.
The statement was issued through the Senior Special Adviser on Media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, saying he has been in contact with Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state, the Police, the Military and other security agencies in the state to confirm the detail of the incident and the modality to adopt to arrest future occurrence.
Meanwhile, he calls on the community to exercise restraint and put their head together with security agency to fight a common enemy and report any suspicious movement to security as soon as they see one.
