A pipeline explosion has occurred near Gloryland Estate inIsheri Olofin, Egbe-Idimu Local Council Development Area of Lagos. Residents of the area have fled in search of safety, following the explosion and fire.
The fire was said to have affected some parts of Diamond Estate along Isheri/Lasu-Igando Road.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, however, residents of the area suspect pipeline vandalism.
Meanwhile, Emergency and rescue officials including the fire service have been deployed to the area.
